Compressors and spare parts for yachts and pleasure boats

Prepare a refrigeration or air-conditioning enquiry for a motor yacht, sailing boat, catamaran or charter vessel by identifying the equipment actually installed.

Cabin comfort and provision refrigeration

Cabin air conditioning and provision storage are different circuits. Explain which circuit needs a replacement and whether the issue affects one zone, several units or a central plant. Provide the complete system brand as well as the compressor nameplate. Small packaged yacht units do not necessarily contain a compressor listed in this catalogue; we can review the installed reference before preparing a quotation.

Access and electrical supply

Access through a hatch, available machinery space and connection positions may constrain a yacht refit. Include photographs of mountings, pipework and the installed assembly. State voltage, phases and frequency, and whether shore power differs from the onboard supply. Similar capacity or appearance does not establish interchangeability. Electrical execution and operating conditions must be checked against the installed circuit before a replacement is proposed.

Water-cooled systems

Identify whether heat rejection uses seawater directly or an intermediate fresh-water loop. A shell-and-tube condenser enquiry needs its complete reference, connection dimensions and circuit details. Suitability of materials for the actual cooling water must be verified for the exact execution. Installing a component on a yacht does not make an ordinary water-cooled version seawater resistant.

Receiving during a marina call

For a port call or refit, supply the marina, expected dates, yacht name and receiving contact. A marina address may require a designated agent or service company to accept the shipment. Keep the requesting party, purchasing business and receiver separate. An early enquiry helps check availability and transport options; onboard delivery and arrival deadlines are confirmed only in the commercial offer.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enquire about a small yacht air-conditioning unit?

Yes. Send the assembly and compressor nameplates if accessible. We first check whether the reference is within our supply scope.

Do you need shore and generator electrical data?

Provide both if known. The operating supply must match the selected execution.

Which photos help in a confined machinery space?

Nameplate, connections, mountings and available access. Do not dismantle equipment simply to submit an enquiry.

Can you quote for a charter boat?

Yes. Identify the buyer, vessel and receiving contractor or agent.

What if the vessel has no IMO number?

Leave the field blank. Give its name and available identifiers; IMO is not required to send an enquiry.

Can a marina or agent receive the shipment?

Provide receiver and address. Availability, transport, access and receipt conditions are confirmed in the offer.

Who is the buyer?

The purchasing organisation. Owner, requester and receiving agent may differ and must be identified separately.

Does a port page imply local stock?

No. It describes a receiving context and does not claim a warehouse or stock at that location.

Can I attach the part and nameplate photographs?

Yes. The form accepts up to three JPG, PNG or WebP images, up to four megabytes each.

Is an enquiry an order?

No. It requests checking and a quotation. The commercial transaction is managed with AACORE SUPPLY.
